• Free Tier: 10 file conversions per rolling 7-day window, unless we publish different limits on the pricing page
• Paid Tiers (Basic, Standard, Pro): Higher conversion limits and priority processing, available through Patreon subscriptions

3. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

• Ensuring they have the legal right to convert and download the files they upload
• Not uploading copyrighted material without proper authorization
• Not uploading malicious files, viruses, or any content that could harm our systems
• Respecting our file size limits and usage policies based on your subscription tier
• Not attempting to reverse engineer or exploit our service
• Not attempting to bypass rate limits or tier restrictions
• Not using multiple IP addresses or devices to circumvent conversion limits
• Maintaining the security of your Patreon account if you subscribe to a paid tier

4. File Security and Privacy

We take your privacy seriously:

• All uploaded files are processed securely and automatically deleted after 24 hours
• We do not store or share your personal information or file contents
• Files are processed in a secure environment with no human access
• Download links are unique and expire after 24 hours
• We track IP addresses and device information for security and rate limiting purposes only
• Conversion statistics (counts per IP) are tracked to enforce tier-based limits

4.1 Rate Limiting

To ensure fair usage and prevent abuse, we implement tier-based rate limiting:

• Free tier: 10 file conversions per rolling 7-day window (unless otherwise stated on the pricing page)
• Paid tiers: higher limits per rolling window (for example 30 minutes or one hour) as specified on the pricing page
• Rate limits are enforced using the visitor identifier (including IP or linked accounts) and rolling windows defined for each tier
• Attempts to bypass rate limits may result in temporary or permanent access restrictions

5. Service Availability

While we strive to maintain high service availability, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Maintenance and updates
• Technical difficulties
• Server overload
• Force majeure events

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our service for:

• Converting copyrighted material without permission
• Uploading illegal, harmful, or malicious content
• Attempting to overload or damage our systems

9. Subscription and Payment Terms

9.1 Paid Tiers

Paid subscription tiers (Basic, Standard, Pro) are available through Patreon:

• Subscriptions are managed through Patreon's platform
• Subscription benefits are applied automatically upon verification
• We reserve the right to verify subscription status at any time
• Subscription cancellation is handled through Patreon
• Upon cancellation, your account will revert to Free tier limits

9.2 Refunds

Refund requests for Patreon subscriptions should be directed to Patreon's support team, as payments are processed through their platform.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice, for any violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. This includes but is not limited to:

• Violation of rate limits or tier restrictions
• Abuse of the service or attempts to circumvent security measures
